Ways to lengthen hair faster
We spend a lot of time and money on products to lengthen hair, which is easy to use, but we leave it where hair growth begins:
It is just like good soil supplanted for healthy plant and flower growth, a healthy scalp is the basis for healthy hair growth.
"Research supports the idea that scalp massage has beneficial effects on stress hormones, blood pressure and heart rate that have an effect on hair lengthening."
A simple way to lengthen hair at home is to massage your own scalp
This will increase blood flow to your scalp, enhance the strength of the hair roots, and help nutrients reach your hair follicles faster.
You can massage your scalp with dry hair, but adding rich oil such as moringa oil with nutrients to the mix will only double the benefits.
(Just add it once a week if you have greasy roots)
Rosemary oil has been used for centuries to stimulate hair growth. It expands blood vessels and in turn stimulates your follicles to produce new growth.
1- Egg yolk mask to lengthen hair:
On average, hair grows about a quarter to half an inch a month, and although we can not speed up this process, we can affect the quality of the hair shafts each follicle can produce (think: thicker, stronger, more glossy locks). There are things we can do "to stimulate a higher percentage of hair follicles in the scalp, which keeps more hair growing and makes your head thicker, healthier and fuller." Unsurprisingly, this makes the way you treat your hair is essential for normal hair growth. If your hair breaks before it exceeds your shoulders, the egg mask will be your savior. Eggs contain lecithin and protein, which strengthens, nourishes and heals your filaments. 2 In addition, their high sulfur content may help treat dandruff.
To make the mask, mix 2 eggs with 2 tablespoons of olive oil. Add half a cup of water to ease the mixture (and make it less viscous). Apply the mask directly to dry and drained hair and leave for up to 30 minutes. Then wash your hair with shampoo and conditioner as usual.
2- Your medications that have an indirect effect on hair lengthening:
According to Bowman, there are many prescribed medications known to be associated with hair loss. "Some common categories of medications that can exacerbate hair loss include antihypertensives, cholesterol or statins, hormone alternatives such as thyroid, birth control, testosterone, and some antidepressants," he says. 3
As a precautionary measure, you should always discuss these side effects with your doctor before stopping any medications.
3- Washing hair with cold water to strengthen hair
Just like hot water can cause your skin to dry out, it can also hurt your skin. Cold water rinsing helps close the outer layer and strengthen hair follicles before styling. Cold water is best if you can handle it, but lukewarm is the best thing if you can't.
4- Use hot castor oil to promote growth
Castor Oil is the unknown hero of the hair world – you may tend to get rid of coconut oil for it after reading this. First of all, castor oil contains antifungal and bacterial properties to help fight scalp infections that prevent your hair from growing. Secondly, it is full of omega-6 fatty acids, vitamin E, proteins and other nutrients that can penetrate your dry strands and close your hair stem to retain moisture. Thirdly, it is a great treatment with hot oil – massaging oil in the roots helps your scalp absorb all nutrients and helps promote hair growth.
To give yourself a treatment with hot oil, massage your scalp with oil and then apply to the ends of your hair strands. Put your hair over your head, cover it with a bathing cap and blow your hair strands with a hair dryer for 15 minutes. Feel free to bathe, shampoo and conditioner as usual. You'll notice softer strands instantly.
5- Avoid smoking for healthy blood flow
Smoking is a personal choice and we are not here for the judge, but we will be lying if we say the verb does not affect your hair in some way. "Smoking restricts blood flow to the scalp and follicles, which in turn restricts the vital oxygen and nutrients your hair and scalp need to be healthy," Bowman notes. Also, toxins caused by smoking can penetrate into the hair follicles and cause disorder.
